The NY Times editorial praises Russia's Duma for cracking down on the Russian sex slavery trade. Now perhaps sex slaves won't have to rely on Ashcroft's compassion for rescue.

Let's face it - Sex slavery is a vital part of the economy of many nations. Ashcroft is merely striking a blow for Free Trade. We don't want those countries putting tariffs on our goods, so we shouldn't be stealing their commodities. I see the move as perfectly consistent with the thriving "open marketplace" movement. Now what are we going to do to stop Sweden from sheltering our former intelligence workers and depriving us of a valuable commodity?
